Eggs during pregnancy improve baby’s brain development

Researchers from Cornell University suggest that babies gain lifelong cognitive benefits when their mothers consume greater amounts of the nutrient choline during pregnancy

The study showed that pregnant women who consumed close to twice the currently recommended daily amount of choline during their last trimester gave birth to babies with improved information processing speed. The nutrient choline can be found in egg yolks, nuts and cruciferous vegetables.
