Use of acetaminophen during pregnancy linked to language delay in babies

Researchers found that the use of acetaminophen during pregnancy is linked to language delay in baby girls

The study by Bornehag and colleagues showed that intake of common pain reliever acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol, during pregnancy led to an elevated rate of language delay in 30-month-old girls. Acetaminophen is the ingredient in Tylenol and many other pain relievers.
